Digging Ourselves Out...

I'm going to start making t-shirts, mugs and bumper stickers to sell around town next week:

I Survived the Blizzard of 2008!

Ohio is usually known for having snowy winters (they aren't that bad really), but this, this is insane!

Even for us Ohio folks :)

We have a Winter Weather Warning until 4:00 am Sunday morning. At noon today, the local weather station reported that we have accumulated 12.50 inches of snow in 24 hours. At 4:00 pm, the recorded snow total was 15 inches. I have never seen anything like this. Global warming??? The thing is, it's not even close to being done! The weather forecast is saying another 3-5 inches this evening! Hopefully the electricity stays on, or this could get really nasty.

Another 6 feet and we'll need a tunnel.

According to the weather report, this picture was taken about half way through the winter storm that decided to settle upon us.

I need a snowblower :(

Ohhhhhh...you've been having to shovel?! Ouch. We've got it bad down here in Sunbury too. We DO have a snowblower, however, it did not work in this much snow! Check out my blog for the details. Don't mind that there's THREE entries from today alone! ....stuck in the house, ya know?
